Week 1: Planning out the month

Like every project... I begin looking in the mirror thinking... where do I even start? 

Then I take a deep breath... 

STEP 1: Define what is your ultimate goal? Ok... I think my ultimate goal for this month is to be able to teach one entire 45 minute fitness workout. 

Even typing that felt daunting... and another deep breath commences. whew!

STEP 2: Make a small goal for the first week: Thursday after work block off 2 hours to practicing. I won't overcommit myself or set too high of a bar, but just putting time on the calendar feels like a great start. 

The first week has the highest likelihood for drop-off or quitting... so let's just start together by getting through the week. Setting aside time gets the ball rolling - so great job!

 

1. Take 1-Day BollyX Instructor Certification Training Session

2. Practice teaching 1 song in front of a group. Ex: With permission guest teach in current instructor's class, with friends, or with other instructors 

3. Learn 11 Pre-Choreographed Workout Songs on BollyX Portal (45 - min workout) 

4. Find fitness studio and schedule weekly class (BollyX helps with placement opportunities) 

5. Join BollyX Community events, support other instructors, & make fitness friends!
